Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority (mcrwma) 


MCRWMA is comprised of city and county governments, with members meeting to discuss and solve regional issues concerning solid waste. 

There are two regional landfills within Merced County which are owned and operated by the Joint-Powers Agreement (JPA).  Members of the JPA are the Cities of Atwater, Dos Palos, Gustine, Livingston, Los Banos and Merced, and the County of Merced.
