Curbside Recycling Information

For easy recycling in your home, place an extra waste basket in your kitchen, office, room, or wherever else you have recyclables. Or, substitute a waste can for a recycling can. For example, keep a trash can in the restroom, but turn that office waste basket into a recycling basket instead -- since most of what will go into that basket will be paper and other recyclables.

All beverage containers that say "CA Refund Value" are accepted in the curbside recycling can, or you may redeem these items at a local redemption center/CRV buyback.

The list below of what goes into each curbside can is a guideline. -- For more detailed information, please visit the Recyclable Items page to enter an item into the searchable database, which will let you know if an item is recyclable or not.

Please note: Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) should not be placed in any of your curbside carts. For more information on how to dispose of HHW items, please click here
